| Other Information: Built as a first-class store; Hadden also commissioned 104-106 West 14th Street from William Field & Son; both buildings have unusual cusps at top of window enframements; the architectural firm also designed 134-140 Grand Street (see). Although not known for its cast-iron buildings, William Field & Son designed a number of exceptionally fine buildings, including rowhouses, factories, and Alfred Treadway White's model tenements in Brooklyn (with iron balconies).
